Background
Bilkan Ince graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering in 2019 before graduating from the MSc Aerospace Dynamics course at Cranfield University in 2020.
His final year project at the University of Sheffield concerned the implementation of an 'On-Board Microgrid for More Electric Aircraft', where a new approach for overcurrent and voltage control was implemented under the supervision of Dr. George Konstantopoulos.
After completing his Masters degree at Cranfield University in 'Aerospace Dynamics', Bilkan Ince wrote his Individual Research Project 'Loss of Control Analysis for the F/A-18 HARV' using bifurcation and chaos analysis with Dr James Whidborne.
Current activities
Currently, based in DARTeC researching Sense and Avoid Technologies for the multiple operation of Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), specifically dealing with vision based AI detection and avoidance schemes.
