Background
Amy Bennett is currently working towards a PhD as part of the Connected Waters Leverhulme Doctoral Programme, alongside the RHS (Royal Hortisucltural Society). Her research is looking into the water balances of gardens and how these can be used to build natural resilience against climatic weather extremes.
Amy did her undergraduate degree at Bangor University, Wales where she studied Environmental Conservation. Her dissertation project aimed to determine if different concentrations of foliar nutrient fertilisers influenced the health and yield of potato crops to apply to the broader context of sustainability and food security.
