Background
Aleksandra Pastuszek graduated from The University of Life Sciences with a Master of Science in Food Technology and Nutrition in 2015. Before joining Cranfield University in 2022, she gained experience in the food industry, quality control, auditing and laboratory analysis. At Cranfield, she joined the technical team supporting academic staff, researchers and students to ensure research is delivered effectively and laboratories run smoothly and safely. She has developed expertise in fungal growth and fungal secondary metabolites. Aleksandra’s journey has since led her to the fascinating world of fungi, where she now supports research for sustainable innovation as Senior Technician for the Magan Centre of Applied Mycology.
