Background

Adam Hathaway received a BEng in Electronic Engineering at Staffordshire University in 2014, after which, he worked for 8 enjoyable years in the defence industry. During this period, he had the opportunity to experience a range of different job roles, mainly focused around RF and communication systems, and contributed to a number of interesting projects. In addition, Adam also successfully completed a M.Sc. degree in computing from the University of Gloucestershire in 2021.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D degree in the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-physical Systems at Cranfield University.  

Current activities

Currently based in the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-Physical Systems at Cranfield University in collaboration with BAE Systems. His research is focused on the control of autonomous systems within a dynamic environment using artificial intelligence.
