Background
Abdulrahman Alqoud is an experienced engineer in production and manufacturing systems since 2011. Over the course of many years, I worked as a production engineer to improve production and manufacturing processes. He obtained a Master's degree in Science of Management from Ulster University, UK. In 2020 he found the opportunity to pursue his study for a PhD in the same field of his interest manufacturing systems. He started the PhD journey at the University of Liverpool and he is currently completing it at Cranfield University.

Decision-based framework, manufacturing digitisation
Current activities
Abdulrahman's primary research goal is to design and develop a decision-based framework (DBF) that facilitates Small-and-Medium-sized-Enterprises (SMEs) to support the decision to retrofit their legacy systems. The DBF can help SMEs comprehend the requirements for retrofitting and identify satisfactory Industrial 4.0 solutions
