This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Cranfield University is offering one scholarship to a student in China applying for a postgraduate course in the areas of forensics, energy, agrifood, environment, water, design, manufacturing or transport systems.

This scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarships campaign, which has been launched by the British Council, together with UK universities, to support from a number of countries in accessing excellent UK higher education opportunities.

Please note that applicants should be passport holders of China.

What it covers

Scholarships are worth £10,000 toward tuition fees.

Who can apply

Scholarships are for Chinese students wishing to study a full-time master's course in:

  • Forensic Science
  • Water and Design,
  • Environment and Agrifood ,
  • Energy and Power,
  • Manufacturing, or
  • Transport Systems (excluding Advanced Motorsport courses, MSc Airport Planning and Management and MSc Air Transport Management).

How to apply

The first step is to check that your course choice is an eligible course and make an online application for admission to that course. When you have received your six digit Cranfield application number please submit a scholarship application using the link below. You will need to include a personal statement addressing the Justification for Support criteria outlined below. Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 1st May 2023.
