If successful you will work closely with our industrial partners on real-world problems and provide solutions to help meet the UK and global targets related to sustainable energy production and use. Where possible, an industrial mentor will closely shadow you throughout your studies, offering guidance and advice.

The team of industrial partners and Cranfield academic staff will give you the skills and knowledge you will need to keep clearly focused on the application of mechanical engineering within the energy industries. In return we expect you will work hard, study hard, get great results and turn theory into practice through excellent quality, impactful group project work and individual research. We will expect nothing short of excellence; we’ll select for it and drive it hard during the programme.
