Next Open Day: Saturday 14 March 2020 – 9.50am-3.00pm

You can use the information below to see what is on offer at our Open Day. Plan for our next event and get the most out of your visit to the University. 

Look out for our student ambassadors on the day who will be wearing blue polo shirts. They will be able to assist with your visit and answer any student and course related questions you may have. The events team will also be identifiable on the day, wearing purple shirts.

 

 

Registration

All visitors are required to check in on the day of the event. Our registration desk opens at 9.50am. On arrival you will receive a welcome booklet which will include the event schedule and useful information about the day.

Course showcases

There will be an opportunity for you to attend a showcase, relating to your chosen course. Our academics will be around to give you a presentation and/or tour of the facilities on campus which relate to your course area. 

Campus tours

Campus tours will run from 13.30-15.00. You can book onto a campus tour during your visit, this does not need to be done in advance. During the campus tour, you will also have the chance to view some of our accommodation.

Venue

The Open Day is taking place in the Vincent Building 52a (grid D4 on the map), located in the centre of campus.

Parking

There is a designated car park, highlighted on the map (entrance grid E3) and only a very short walk to the venue. There will be signage directing you to the car park on arrival and then to the event venue. You do not need a parking permit to park here. If you require disabled parking, please contact the Open Day team on openday@cranfield.ac.uk

Coach transfers

We have arranged for a coach to collect guests from Bedford train station. The coach will be situated directly outside the station.
Bedford train station departing at 9:10am. 
MK train station departing at 9.10am.
The coaches returning to Bedford and MK train stations will depart from Cranfield at 3pm

UNO bus service

In addition to our coach transfers the ‘UNO Bus’ C1/C10 service runs regularly. The most appropriate times to ensure you arrive at the event with enough time prior to the start time are:
· Bedford BUS station – stop P, departing at 9:02am
