The Advanced Lightweight and Composite Structures MSc group and individual projects are often run in collaboration with industrial partners.

Group projects are designed to integrate knowledge, understanding and skills from the taught modules into a real-life situation. Students learn how being part of a project team can contribute and affect the whole outcome as well as emulating a work scenario. Group projects account for 20% of the course structure.

Individual research project topics can vary allowing students to develop their own areas of interest. Projects are devised to give a research challenge and provide students with the opportunity to think and work in an original way. Individual projects account for 40% of the course structure.
