This course is designed to support staff who are required to provide ground truth data (GTD) as part of testing and trace-interpretation processes within the field of digital forensics.
The course is intended to be a two day, in person, hands on practical experience that gives digital forensic professionals the knowledge, understanding and confidence to create quality ground truth data (GTD). Attendees will:

- Pitfalls surrounding GTD production and use,
- The value of GTD,
- Tools and methods for creating GTD,
- The management of GTD,
- The ethics and laws around GTD,
- Practical exercises for producing and evaluating GTD.

Situated close to Milton Keynes and Bedford, the Cranfield campus is situated in Wharley End, very close to Cranfield village, and is about 10 minutes from the M1 motorway. There is rail and road access to most major airports as well as coach and train stations. Cranfield campus also has its own airport for private executive business travel.
