- Dr Frazer Smith (MSc Advanced Materials 2008) research is featured in this article looking at his journey from plastics to concrete, from industry and academia, and from the UK to South Africa as well as his research with materials and sustainable innovation.
- Arnaud Abecassis (MSc Manufacturing 2006) has been appointed as Manager Director within the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment of FTI Consulting in France.
- Kristin Meyer (MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management 2018) recently began a new position at AquaGen as Director of Security and Supply. Meyer’s strong experience will contribute to the professionalisation of the company’s supply chain planning and security.
- Nana Opare (MBA 2005) reflects on how the quote “Everyone has a history, what you do with it is up to you. Some repeat it, some learn from it. The special ones use it to help others” sparked his passion for volunteering and giving back.
- Vasiliki Fragkou (PhD in Cranfield Health 2010) has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at AegirBio.
- Helen Tupper (Residential Executive Development Programme 2014), author of ‘The Squiggly Career’ and founder of career development and training business ‘Amazing If’, has been listed in the top 10 best books on career development.
- Martin Kelleher (MBA 2001) has been appointed as Head of Corporate at business law firm Mason Hayes & Curran.
- Alasdair Pettigrew, CEO at MeOmics Technology Ltd, presents on his beginnings, challenges, learnings and achievements to provide insight and advice on developing resilience.
- Trupti Arabatti (MSc Advanced Materials 2012) shares her passion for innovation and advice for female engineers.
- Professor Simon Gicharu, Founder of Mount Kenya University, has been appointed by Ruto to chair KICD.
- Katherine Bennett CBE FRAeS (Honorary Graduand 2019) is speaking at the Royal Aeronautical Society headquarters ahead of National Mentoring Day on Friday 27 October.
- Piotr Samson (MBA 1995) has been re-elected as Chair of the Management Board of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
- Tai Terk Lin (MBA 1991) has announced his retirement from FTSE Bursa Malaysia KL CI ETC.
- Christos Flessas (MSc Guided Weapons Systems 2008) talks about the role of APIs in today's cybersecurity world and current trends.
- Ben Page (MSc Rural Engineering 1995) will be giving an inaugural lecture as part of the 2023/24 series for UCL's Department of Geography. The talk will use eight images of places in Cameroon as a way to reflect on the twists and turns of Professor Page's research has taken over the last 25 years.
- Kathryn Bartlett (PhD Natural Soil) shares how long-term soil management plans can improve soil fertility.
- Yuriko Kato (MSc by Research at Cranfield University at Silsoe 1999), CEO of Am-Square Lab, shares how they are dissolving the "walls" of agriculture with technology.
- Johnny Schute (MSc Design of Information Systems 2002) features in this article about the Chief Operating Group of Rail Safety and Standards Board.
