Director of Finance and Operations and member of the University Executive
Geoff has worked for Cranfield University at Shrivenham since 2000 and currently holds the post of Director of Finance and Operations for Cranfield Defence and Security.
Geoff graduated from Leeds with a BA in Accounting & Finance in 1987 and then became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1990 whilst working in Bristol for Touche Ross (and formerly Spicer & Oppenheim). After gaining experience in the audit environment, Geoff broadened his knowledge base by working for three years in the Corporate Recovery sector in the City of London before moving from practice into industry. Geoff held a variety of posts in Unigate plc, Wincanton Distribution Ltd and Aggregate Industries plc before taking up his first post at the University in 2000.
Geoff was appointed to his current role of the Director of Finance and Operations for CDS in August 2014.
