Professor of Business Strategy in the School of Management and member of the Senior Management team
Professor Mark Jenkins joined Cranfield University as a Professor of Business Strategy in 1992.
In addition to his role in the University's Senior Management Team, Mark is also Professor of Business Strategy. Visit Mark's academic profile. Prior to joining Cranfield he held positions at Nottingham University, Massey Ferguson and the Lex Service Group. His teaching and research activities focus on competitive strategy, and innovation. Mark has particular expertise in the motorsport sector and is a member of the advisory group helping to shape the strategy of the UK motorsport industry.
He is currently a member of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 panel for Business and Management and the Research Committee of the Association of Business Schools. He has also been chairman of the Case Centre (formerly the European Case Clearing House) and strategy advisor to the Samaritans. He is the author of a number of books on strategic management issues and has published numerous journal articles.
