Information for Malaysian students wishing to study a postgraduate programme at Cranfield University.

Cranfield University has a vibrant international community and has been a popular destination for Malaysian students. We currently have 12 students from Malaysia studying with us.

Cranfield has extremely close links with some very prestigious Malaysian universities where a large number of senior academics across all disciplines are Cranfield alumni.

As an exclusively postgraduate university with an average student to staff ratio - 7:1 that is one of the best for any university in the UK and the world, Cranfield offers students from Malaysia an excellent teaching environment that is supported by world-renowned academics, state-of-the-art unique facilities and close engagement with industry. In addition to providing a professional working environment, Cranfield also offers Malaysian students the opportunity to enjoy campus life and get involved in a wide variety of clubs, societies and associations. Our years of experience working with students from Malaysia have enabled us to cater for their specific academic, religious and dietary needs.

The majority of eating outlets on campus provide Halal certified food and a mosque is available on campus, run by the Cranfield Islamic Society. The campus is a very family-friendly environment with on-campus facilities such as a crèche, shops and a bank.

Cranfield has excellent links with the Ministry of Education (MoE) as well as a number of top universities in Malaysia. Cranfield representatives make regular visits to Malaysia to hold meetings with academic colleagues on matters of collaborative research and delivering lectures. We also attend student recruitment fairs to meet prospective students face-to-face and assist with any queries they may have.
