Muscat University is a new, high quality international university located in the centre of Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman. The university has a strong global commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship with close connections to the business communities of Oman and the wider region. Its programmes combine academic rigour with relevance to the world of work. The Oman Education Council gave approval to its establishment as a university in April 2016, and the Ministry of Higher Education issued a licence to operate in October 2016.

Cranfield and Muscat University

Cranfield University is offering six programmes with Muscat University to equip professional learners in the region with the postgraduate skills suited to Oman's ambitions in infrastructure development, logistics and wider commerce:

Faculty of Transport and Logistics

  • MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • MSc Air Transport Management

Faculty of Engineering and Technology

  • MSc Energy Systems and Thermal Processes
  • MSc Process Systems Engineering

Faculty of Business and Management

  • MSc Finance and Management
  • MSc Management and Entrepreneurship

Upon successful completion of their course, students are awarded a degree from Cranfield University for the respective postgraduate masters programme. Muscat University will also make its own award.
