Across Farnborough International Airshow 2018 you can see Cranfield’s unique strength of bringing together academia, business and government.

Whether that is the announcement of the latest concepts in technology with our partners – Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce, or the latest educational Mastership offerings with the Defence Growth Partnership and BAE Systems.

Cranfield University is exhibiting at the Farnborough International Airshow from Monday 16 July to Sunday 22 July. Please come and visit us at our stands 3399 and 3596 in the Innovation Zone, Hall 3.

On stand 3399 we are showcasing our Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre (DARTeC), a new world-class centre for the research and development of cross-sector digital integration solutions. On this stand we are also showcasing our new Digital Control Tower and visitors will be able to speak to the Director of Aviation Operations at Cranfield - Rob Abbott.

In addition to our stands at Farnborough, we are also displaying two of our aircraft from the National Flying Laboratory Centre on the flight line:

  • BAE Systems Jetstream 31: a fully-equipped laboratory used for research projects
  • Scottish Aviation Bulldog Aircraft

To see where our aircraft are on the flight line, take a look at this map.
