The table below reports the number of people across our entire staff and student community who have recorded a positive Covid-19 NHS test and informed Cranfield in that week, whether they have recently been on our site or not.

The number of cases at Cranfield continues to be significantly lower than the UK higher education sector average and we are committed to being completely transparent by publishing this weekly tracker on our website.

Figures for 2021-22 academic year are available here.

All of our staff and students are required to inform the University immediately if any of these three statements apply to them:

  • they have Covid-19 symptoms (a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste);
  • they have tested positive for Covid-19;
  • they have been instructed by NHS Test and Trace to self-isolate.

We typically have a student body of around 5,300 taught and research students and around 2,100 staff members.
