Welcome to CIRP Design Conference 2024

We are pleased to announce the 34th CIRP Design Conference to be held at Cranfield University, UK, on 3-5 June 2024.

CIRP 2024 brings together the design communities of both academia and industry that support products and their lifecycle.

With a growing trend of digitalisation and its impact on design and manufacturing of high value assets, it is pivotal to address the whole lifecycle of the complex engineered product with improved designs, which will not just meet the long-term needs but also supports both efficiency and performance of the asset.

This edition of the conference mainly focuses on the influence and impact of digitalisation of engineering design.

Paper submission

The Organising Committee invites authors to submit manuscripts with significant scientific results with a maximum of 6 pages. All contributions will be peer-reviewed to evaluate their merit prior to being accepted and published in Procedia CIRP.

Based on the reviewer's report and the presentation at the conference, an award panel will make recommendations to the committee that will identify the best paper award.

The submission portal is now open and we invite participants to submit your papers using the templates linked below.

Instructions for the submission of an abstract can be found in the author guidelines.

Please note, you will need to register on Procedia CIRP in the first instance and will need to select the option 'S.I.: PROCIRP_34th CIRP Design Conference' for submitting your abstract.
