Information for South African students wishing to study a postgraduate programme at Cranfield University

Cranfield University has a vibrant international community and is historically a popular destination for students from South Africa. We currently have 11 students from South Africa studying with us.

As an exclusively postgraduate university with a student to staff ratio - 7:1 that is one of the best for any university in the UK and the world, Cranfield represents a unique offering for South African students thinking of studying in the UK. South African students at Cranfield benefit from excellent teaching delivered by our world-renowned academics, state-of-the art facilities and real-life industry projects with leading global organisations.

The UK imports 327,000 tons of fresh fruits from South Africa each year. Cranfield is undertaking case studies in South Africa and the UK to enable insights into the motivations and concerns of farmers, suppliers, retailers and consumers, and to help identify where resilience and efficiency might be at odds. Read more about our research project.

Cranfield provides a professional working environment but our South African students also enjoy campus life and get involved in a wide variety run by the Cranfield Student Association.
