Information for Rwanda students wishing to study a postgraduate course at Cranfield University.


Cranfield University has a vibrant international community and is historically a popular destination for students from Rwanda. We currently have 10 students from Rwanda studying with us.

As an exclusively postgraduate university, Cranfield represents a unique offering for Rwandan students thinking of studying in the UK. Rwandan students at Cranfield benefit from excellent teaching delivered by our world-renowned academics, state-of-the art facilities and real-life industry projects with leading global organisations.

Academic requirements

Most courses at Cranfield University require a UK lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree with honours as a minimum. Some courses may require an UK upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree with honours (or equivalent international qualification). Applicants should check entry requirements on individual course pages.

Funding Opportunities

Cranfield partners with a number of in-country funding bodies, Government agencies, academic institutions and NGOs to set up dedicated Scholarships. These are in addition to Scholarships offered by the British Council.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme: Students from developing countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK can apply for Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for master’s study, jointly supported by Cranfield University.
