It is finding out how European Union policy can encourage its citizens to come up with innovations which will help us live more sustainable lives.
The three-year research project, being led by Technology University Munich, is focused on energy, food, housing and mobility.
The futures’ work on sustainable consumption builds on previous European Union research on aspirational scenarios called SPREAD Sustainable Lifestyles 2050.
