Cranfield creates leaders in technology and management – and the latest rankings from the Center for World University rankings back that up, highlighting that Cranfield is in the top 1% of institutions across the world whose alumni go on to run companies.
The University was ranked 179th out of more than 27,000 degree-granting institutions, measured by “the number of a university's alumni who have held CEO positions at the world's top companies relative to the university's size”.
Notable alumni include Warren East, CEO of Rolls-Royce; Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd and Debra Charles, Founder and CEO of Novacroft.
Benedicta Morrow, Director of Alumni Relations and Development, said: “Our alumni play a significant role in the overall success of the University. We are incredibly proud of our alumni, the success they go on to achieve and the role they play in supporting our students.”
Cranfield’s network of 60,000 alumni across 167 countries includes groups in Australia (which sponsors an annual MBA scholarship), China, India and Switzerland.
