Vivian Igenewari is a PhD researcher in the Integrated Vehicle Health Management Centre (IVHM) at Cranfield University, since November 2017. Her Bachelors degree was in Computer Science from Babcock University, Nigeria in 2004 and her Masters degree was in Advanced Computer Science (Cloud Computing) from the University of Leeds in 2014. Vivian has worked as a Systems Analyst/Administrator and Application Support Engineer/Analyst at several companies including Vanfrank Limited, TEAM Energy and Cognisco Limited. As an Application Support Analyst, Vivian was part of business improvement projects working with querying databases for the purpose of finding useful patterns and developing intelligent reporting tools which provided additional sources of income for the organisations. Her current research interests involve big data analytics, machine learning and anomaly detection techniques for aerospace-related datasets.
Vivian is currently developing a framework using data analytics and anomaly detection methods to detect known and emerging deviations of flight crew from standard operating procedures.
