I consider myself competent enough to undertake research assignment of my research interest. Having done my Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Chemistry and currently perusing Ph.D. in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh , India (with specialization in polymer-Nanocomposites for the photocatalytic applications), I am enriched with both the classical and advanced knowledge in the subject area. I do possess scientific bent of mind with innovative ideas and clear concepts. Qualifying GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) entrance test (a national test in the field of science) was one of my dreams that I pursued and attained successfully. Currently, I am pursuing Ph.D. entitled ‘Synthesis, and Characterization of Biodegradable Polymer Nanocomposites and their potential applications for the photo degradation of organic pollutants from waste water. I have been working on the synthesis of metal oxide/semiconductor nanoparticles and tailoring the interaction of conducting polymer as a catalyst. I have published my research articles in the reputed international journal. I have contributed book chapters in Natural Polymers: Derivatives, Blends and Composites, Volume I and Volume II, published by Nova Science Publisher, New York (2016), Springer and Pan Stanford publication.
I am working as a visiting researcher with Prof. Frederic Coulon and Dr.Pablo Campo Moreno at School of water, Energy and Environment. My research focus on the photodegradation of the toxic pollutants associated with the waste water. Synthesizing novel polymer nanocomposites as an efficient photocatalysts for the degradation of wide range of water contaminant such as ammonia, antibiotics, organic dyes etc.
