You did it!

Congratulations for successfully completing your programme of study or research, particularly during what will have undoubtedly been challenging circumstances.

About the online ceremonies

We have worked to take the essence of traditional ceremonies and adapt them to an online format. Your name will be read out live in the ceremony and, if you have registered to attend, you will appear on-screen at that time. Click on your ceremony link below to be taken to your designated ceremony page. Here you will find all the information you’ll need about your ceremony, including what to expect, how to register and how to get in touch if you have any queries.

Graduation dates and start times

Please note: all graduates must join the online ceremony 30 minutes prior to the live start time. For example, joining at 9.30am for a 10am ceremony.

When does registration close?

Registration is now closed for all ceremonies. All eligible graduates will have already received their invitation.

Why has the University chosen an online ceremony this year?

A significant factor in our decision-making about delivering graduation was whether the situation globally would allow us to provide all our graduates with an equal opportunity to attend, and that graduates and guests would be confident to do so.

Online graduation is in addition to inviting you back to a traditional ceremony in the future.

Will I be able to attend a traditional in-person ceremony in the future?

As soon as we can move back to traditional, in-person ceremonies we will do so. At that point we will be excited to update you as we make plans to invite you back for your celebrations.

When will I get my certificate?

Certificates will be sent out to all graduates over a period of weeks following the online ceremonies.

How do I know which ceremony I am invited to?

Your invitation will show which ceremony you have been invited to. However, if you are unsure please let us know at

Prize winners

Prize-winners will be notified by Student Academic Support teams in due course along with details of any school prize-giving events. All prize winners will be announced during the live ceremonies.

How do I access my ceremony?

Once you have confirmed your attendance via the Graduation EVE task, we will contact you via email in June with detailed joining instructions.

To access the ceremony on the day you will need a PC/laptop/tablet or smart phone with camera and microphone and consent to download Zoom. Please make sure to follow the instructions, and register on Zoom for the ceremony in advance via the meeting link which will be provided in the joining instructions.
