Multi-phase flows models (VOF, Euler-Euler & Mixture) will be applied to solve simplified industry-related problems, providing methods and capabilities for delegates to further train on their own and be able to generate advanced numerical flow simulations.

Course structure

This course is delivered through a balanced combination of lectures and practical sessions over 3 days. Hand-on the software will be prioritised with numerous practical sessions on industrial engineering problems.

What you will learn

This 3-day course will give you the ability to run multi-phase flow simulations via a commercial flow solver.

Learn how to run CFD simulations from scratch, starting with the problem definition, geometry and mesh generation, define boundary conditions, then apply flow settings and solve for the flow.

ANSYS will support this course. Delegates will have full access to the professional ANSYS suite edition, including ICEM CFD, ANSYS Meshing, FLUENT, CFD-POST for the whole duration of the course.
