Overview

The Cranfield Postgraduate Loan Scheme (CPLS) is an exciting new funding programme providing affordable tuition fee and maintenance loans for those who are accepted onto full-time, technology-based MSc courses at Cranfield University.

The scheme, to be launched for 2014 courses, is designed to support UK and EU students entering postgraduate study and is intended to attract those who may not otherwise progress to this level because of financial constraints.

There are up to 100 loans available in the first year, for those who have an offer of a place from the University to study a full-time MSc at Cranfield in a STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics related) subject commencing in 2014.

This scheme has been designed as a not-for-profit scheme initially funded by HEFCE and Cranfield University and operated by Prodigy Finance Ltd.

  • What the funding covers

    * The amount that you can borrow will depend on the tuition fees for the course you are going to study up to a maximum of £15,000.

Under HEFCE funding rules, UK students may be awarded loans for tuition fees and maintenance (i.e. accommodation and living expenses whilst you are studying).

If you live in the rest of the EU you may apply for a tuition fees only loan.
