Social life
The Cranfield Students’ Association offers ample opportunities to socialise with your fellow students either in the bar or in a smoke and alcohol-free café. Entertainment includes games nights, bands, discos, karaoke, quizzes and film nights. The Cranfield ‘International Day’ brings together the wide variety of nationalities represented on campus - where you can experience food and cultures from around the world. We have a wide range of cultural, recreational and sporting societies supported by the Students’ Association. If there isn't a club representing your interest, you can set one up!
The Community Development Office offers a full programme of events on and off campus, including sightseeing visits, theatre, concert, museum trips, and the occasional visit to Europe. Support and advice on all aspects of student life including English classes for wives and partners, the HOST scheme in which international students are invited to visit British hosts in their homes throughout the country, information and friendship.
