The Erasmus scheme

The Erasmus scheme

The Erasmus scheme is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013 run by the European Union (EU), which consists of a range of educational activities. Erasmus is the programme of activities which relate to higher education. It aims to enhance the European dimension of Higher Education and promote mobility within the EU.

Under Erasmus, mobility is possible for both students and staff.  If you are interested then make contact with your international office at your home academic institution to see if we have signed a bi-lateral agreement to collaborate under Erasmus and to discuss the possibilities or contact us at erasmus@cranfield.ac.uk

All Erasmus participant institutions have to be in possession of an Erasmus University Charter. As part of this application process Universities have to have a European Policy Statement.
