Students from Cranfield School of Management have won a UK business simulation competition. The UK Business Olympics in Strategic Skills (BOSS) competition is organised with Revas Business Simulation Games, and tests teams in a business simulation game. Over a five week period, they have to navigate a virtual business landscape, making strategic decisions and maximising profitability and overall performance.
The Cranfield team, named Euphoria, was drawn from students on the Master’s in Management course: Poorva Singh, Harsh Menon and Arijit Mukherjee. They said: “Winning this competition was a result of our cohesive teamwork, strategic planning, and the adept application of our diverse skills. Throughout the simulation, we maintained open communication channels, ensuring that each team member’s expertise contributed to our overall success. We meticulously analyzed scenarios, made well-thought-out decisions, and swiftly adapted to unforeseen challenges.
“Our commitment to collaboration, coupled with innovative problem-solving, set us apart. This triumph reflects not only our individual capabilities but also our collective strength in navigating and excelling in a competitive environment. We are proud of our achievement and the resilience we demonstrated as a team.”
