Background
Abdelkader has previously held positions at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines in France, University of Neuchatel in Switzerland.
Abdelkader started his career as a civil engineer. He then worked as a Consultant at RAN consulting and Researcher at IFSTTAR in France.
Abdelkader holds a Civil Engineering degree from ENTP engineering school; a Master's degree in transport from the engineering school Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and University ParisXII; a Master's degree in Logistics and Information Systems and PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Abdelkader's doctoral research explored and analysed the mechanisms and the various logics that build customer satisfaction and company organisation.
Current activities
Dr Abdelkader Aoufi joined Cranfield School of Management in 2016. He is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management,
He is deeply involved with the Executive and full time MBA programme, the Executive and full time Masters, Open programmes and customised executive education.
Abdelkader works collaboratively with companies to design, develop and deliver innovative customised executive programmes for global clients.
His current academic interests focus on the areas of Operations Strategy, Behavioural operations. Innovation and agile development.
