To introduce principles of measurement systems for process applications.

Course description

Who should attend?

The course will be of particular interest to engineers employed in the process industries, who require an update on state of the art techniques in industrial process measurement, and in particular on new instruments and developments.

Requirements for maximum course benefit:

An engineering or applied science degree or relevant industrial experience.

The delegate will learn:

Methods for Transmission and Telemetry
Selection of Instrumentation Systems

The delegate will leave with:

Understanding of the types and technologies for measurement of different process variables
Understanding of the factors which affect the operation of a process sensor
