Short course/CPD

Design and Operation of Marine Hydrodynamic Testing Facilities

Course date: 04 Jun 2012  - 08 Jun 2012

Course overview

The aim of this course is to provide a theoretical, applied and experimental understanding of the main engineering fields involved in the design and the operation of hydrodynamic testing facilities such as wave tanks, towing tanks and water circulation channels. The case of wind tunnels for wave tanks will be also considered.
