Airport Design
Course date: Please enquire
Course overview
The aim of the course is to provide managers with a range of skills and key insights into the design of airport airside and landside facilities. Participants will also be introduced to regulatory requirements and to commonly adopted international design standards. The course also acts as a forum where airport planners and others directly involved in the design of airport facilities can informally discuss and explore key issues.
The course consists of a programme of lectures delivered by Department of Air Transport faculty and visiting speakers representing airports and other related organisations. Workshops will also be arranged so that participants can discuss and evaluate a series of airport design challenges.
This course also functions as a module which forms part of the MSc in Airport Planning and Management offered by Cranfield University Department of Air Transport.
