Airport Commercial Revenue Development

Course date: 05 Nov 2012  - 08 Nov 2012

Course overview

Airports are under growing pressure to optimise revenues from non-aeronautical activities. There are many parties involved in delivering a great airport experience to every customer; all of them must balance their commercial objectives with the airport's own. This course addresses the various commercial aspects of the airport business and how these can be developed and exploited to unlock revenue potential. Lectures from leading industry professionals are combined with interactive working sessions, plus a terminal concession planning group project.

Who should attend

Management trainees and managers seeking a broader understanding of airport commercial business outside of their present function.

“The course was interesting, thought provoking, professional and great learning. I also appreciated the great opportunity to meet and discuss the airport business with such a wide ranging mix of people from all over the world operating in very different economic conditions.  The course has enabled to look differently at a wider breadth of the airport business which can only benefit myself and Gatwick going forward.”

Richard Townsend (2009 Delegate), Head of Commercial Operations, London Gatwick Airport
