Short course/CPD

Airframe Systems Design

Course date: 11 Jun 2012  - 15 Jun 2012

Course overview

The short course aims to expand the delegates’ knowledge of airframe systems, their role, design and integration. In particular, to provide delegates with an appreciation of the considerations necessary when selecting aircraft power systems and the effect of systems on the aircraft as a whole.

The course is presented through lectures, tutorials and design and analysis exercises. A comprehensive set of printed notes is provided to accompany each lecture. In addition, each delegate will receive a copy of the text book “Aircraft Systems” by Moir and Seabridge.

The course is delivered through a series of lectures during the mornings and a mixture of tutorials and highly interactive group design exercises in the afternoons.
