Course description

This course provides an overview of Mechatronics modelling using Bond Graphs. The course’s aim is to provide a deep understanding into the dynamic physical systems which are analysed and designed by engineers. The type of systems to be studied can be described by the term Mechatronic, which implies that while the elements of the system are mechanical in a general sense, electronic control will also be involved.  The course greatly emphasises the application aspects of modelling.

Who should attend?

The primary target audience for the course are control, system and component engineers working in the automotive and related industries that are responsible for physical system model development for component design, system integration, and/or control system design.

A secondary demand for the course is for the engineering technical directors and managers who are seeking to be more aware about the system modelling and integration issues surrounding component and system engineering.
