Training placements
The Centre for Water Science offers students from the European Union the opportunity to study as a Visiting Student on a research project with members of academic staff and full-time researchers. Each visiting student research placement can be for a period of up to 12 months.
All projects are closely linked to ongoing research activities within Water Science. The Centre will cover bench costs for the proposed training period, however, a visiting student must be able to cover their own expenses for the full duration of the placement. Upon completion of their placement it is sometimes possible for visiting students to undertake a Masters' degree or PhD within Water Science.
