Research

The Centre for Water Science is a catalyst for research for the sector, working with leading companies and government agencies. The Centre retains an EPSRC Technology Platform in recognition of its international standing and manages a number of networks. It was the first British university group to be awarded American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AwwaRF) funding. Dedicated facilities include a pilot-plant hall at Cranfield's own sewage treatment works and state-of-the-art laboratories. These facilities underpin the work of our academic staff and students who study with us. The Centre for Water Science also offers training placements to students wishing to our support research programmes.

You can view the department's latest publications via Cranfield CERES, a digital repository of research output from Cranfield University. This contains full-text digital theses and dissertations, book chapters, working papers, technical reports, journal pre-prints and peer-reviewed journal reprints.
