Prizes
Students on Water Science's postgraduate programmes compete for a series of trophies and prizes. Presented by leading organisations associated with Cranfield University and awarded during the School of Applied Sciences Graduation Day.
British Water Award
Awarded for the Best Design Group Project. The winning team receive a prize from British Water which is awarded during the British Water Annual Lunch.
“Industry and academia in the UK have to learn to work together more seamlessly. We like to see the British Water Prize at Cranfield as a token contribution to that process, but it does underpin a quite substantial record of co-operation between the two organisations at many levels. This co-operation has been built up over 15 years, and suggests we can achieve even more”.
This annual award recognises the highest achievement in process design and engineering and groups are required to submit a comprehensive high quality report for the project within a tight timescale to have a chance to win. Projects are presented to an audience of over 200 guests from academia and industry at a conference in London.
