Course modules
Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) and Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) qualifications are also available. Students undertaking the PgDip will be expected to complete the eight taught modules and gain theoretical knowledge and skills in collating and analysing information from pre-published sources through a design project. PgCert students will be expected to complete five taught modules, which must include Process Science and Engineering, Waste Management Principles, and gain significant theoretical knowledge which can be applied in the short design project.

Projects
A dissertation replaces the Group Project for part-time students.
The course is taught by members of research and academic staff within the Centre for Resource Management and Efficiency, staff from other academic departments and industrial representatives.
To ensure the programme is aligned to industry needs, the course is directed by its own Programme Advisory Group.
