This complements the teaching delivered by subject specialists based within the Offshore Technology Group at Cranfield. Individual and group projects are usually undertaken in collaboration with industry. Visits to industry are also conducted both locally and further afield during course work and the group project.

Offshore and Ocean Technology students also compete for industry sponsored prizes.
