Accreditation

The postgraduate level Offshore and Ocean Technology programme is accredited by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) for CMarTech and MIMarEST. All options are accredited for CEng. The MSc has also been approved by the Energy Institute (EI) for membership, and as meeting the Engineering Council (UK)'s Further Learning requirements for Chartered Engineer registration under UK SPEC.

We are also a member of the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) and Cranfield University is a corporate member of the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR).
