'Studying at Cranfield University on the Motorsport Engineering and Management programme marks a key step towards me achieving my ambition of working as an engineer in Formula One. After completing an undergraduate master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, I worked in aircraft simulation for four years and gained valuable experience of delivery-focused, professional engineering environments. I am looking forward to building on my skills and experience here at Cranfield, and am certain that the programme will equip me with the tools necessary to succeed in an industry that demands the highest level of performance.

I am very grateful to the Grand Prix Mechanics Charitable Trust for their generous support. The bursary has alleviated my concerns over the substantial financial commitment taking part on the MSc programme constitutes, and will allow me to focus on applying myself fully to the many exciting challenges students face on this exceptional course.'
