Individual Thesis project
The individual thesis project on the MSc Motorsport Engineering and Management provides you with the opportunity to develop solutions to real problems - either undertaking the project within the motorsport company associated with the thesis or working here at Cranfield. Cranfield University's thesis projects are highly regarded for their academic rigour which reflects the depth of research in the University. Other benefits include:
- you gain experience in organising and completing a programme of research in response to a project brief and to a defined timescale
- you develop an appreciation of collating prior knowledge in a specific subject and applying this to your research
- you get to demonstrate your ability to report your work in writing as well as orally, potentially to a prospective employer at the Motorsport Thesis Exhibition Day in September.
Cranfield Motorsport Engineering and Management MSc thesis projects have been supported by many motorsport companies, some of which we cannot name because of confidentiality. Here are some of our thesis project supporters - Williams F1, McLaren Racing, Red Bull Technology, Force India, Cosworth, Pilbeam Racing Designs, Carlin, Wirth Research, ART Grand Prix, Reynard, RML, Silverstone Circuits, Epsilon Euskadi, The FIA, OptimumG, Swindon Racing Engines, Litespeed, Multimatic, ATL, ChassisSim, Xtrac, Alto Performance, Audisport North America, Prodrive, Stack, DAMS and Lola.
