The MSc Motorsport Engineering and Management is supported by a dedicated advisory group which includes leading motorsport organisations. Thesis projects and group projects have relevance to the motorsport sector. Students compete for prizes provided by high profile organisations and individuals. Graduates have gone onto highly rewarding careers in motorsport as well as other sectors such as aerospace, automotive and energy.

Cranfield University is a Partner in the Energy Efficient Motorsport (EEMS) programme, a Motorsport Development UK (MDUK) initiative aimed at supporting UK motorsport and associated industries in understanding issues and opportunities in energy efficiency. Cranfield is a member of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA).

Cranfield University motorsport students also benefit from a unique partnership with Silverstone through the ‘Virtual Silverstone’ project, which allows students to get involved with numerous activities. This includes participating in track design, motorsport marketing, event management and a range of other business related issues.
