Cranfield University Motorsport Alumni Association - CUMAA

There are a number of specialist alumni groups for former students of the University. The groups are aligned to alumni who studied a single course or a group of courses related to a specific sector or industry such as motorsport. These are often relatively informal groups through which former students keep in contact with one another. With the number of Cranfield alumni working in motorsport and associated high performance engineering, networking helps alumni develop their careers in motorsport as well as maintaining contact with Cranfield. A number of alumni contribute to the course by making presentations and supporting projects. Johann Gibson, Red Bull Technology, is the alumnus representative on the Industrial Advisory Panel for the MSc Motorsport Engineering and Management.

In November 2010 we celebrated our tenth anniversary when more than 70 alumni joined current students at Silverstone.

Where motorsport is concerned the course team has established a Cranfield Motorsport Engineering and Management network on LinkedIn which former students are encouraged to join.
