Specialist facilities:

The National Soil Resources Institute (NSRI) operate a range of world-class facilities used to underpin and support the research and teaching programmes underway at the University. Cranfield University is Europe’s largest academic centre for strategic and applied research, development and design and, within the university, NSRI is able to offer a unique, turnkey service to both industry and government agencies due to its internationally-renowned multi-disciplinary staff and facilities. We employ the greatest number of soil scientists of any organisation in the UK and are actively involved in a range of international working groups.
