- Rainfall Simulator-The Rainfall Simulator is a unique experimental facility that is able to replicate rainstorms of a pre-determined intensity, with variable water droplet size and having differing kinetic energy. This allows NSRI scientists to reproduce rainfall events ranging from low intensity temperate storm conditions up to tropical monsoon downpours. This enable NSRI to investigate the effect of rain on different soil conditions, surfaces and structures.
