Manufacturing Management Centre
The Manufacturing Management Centre (MMC) delivers knowledge and support for manufacturing practitioners through academically based research and consultancy, training and education in manufacturing management. The Centre's mission is to improve manufacturing effectiveness by developing and promoting best practice in managing the whole life of manufacturing products and services.
The MMC is concerned with developing sustainable solutions to real-world industry problems. This is achieved by developing and delivering education through professional short courses, consultancy, and postgraduate level education.

With strong practitioner as well as academic experience, the Centre is able to offer consultancy on a broad range of manufacturing management issues. Close liaison with other departmental centres adds manufacturing systems, innovation, design and modelling, supply chain and manufacturing management, computer simulation techniques, cost engineering, maintenance technologies and systems, electronic task support and informatics to the centre’s expertise. In working closely with other Schools and Departments we can bring sustainable solutions to manufacturing management needs.
